24 lathe boring bars and tool holder

This is an assortment of boring bars, some HSS steel but most are carbide. I will try to explain the different lots.

First off is the Boring bar tool holder that I made myself. Its for a Hardinge speed lathe that just slides into the compound and hand tightens. It holds 3/8" and 1/2" diameter bars.

This is quick and easy to use. Ok, from the main photo on the upper left in the brown wooden box are solid carbide, small boring bars, I don't believe any of these have ever been used. The orange holder is holding carbide faced boring bars, I have only used 2 of these and they are still very sharp. In the blue holder these are all HSS and all gently used and can be easily re sharpened.

And on the bottom are a variety of boring/ threading tools. The lower right shows an Aloris BL1 bar which holds a replaceable carbide insert of which 8 inserts are included.
